Todos Están Muertos

An understated gem of a film which features family relationships, 80s pop music, two separate coming-of-age plots, a double tragedy, and a slice of the paranormal. The characters unfold somewhat slowly, but the two women in the film really make the most of their interesting roles with fascinating performances. The kid, weirdly, has the weakest role (and he's not that watchable). The film has a real indie sensibility and so many things I was not expecting. Well worth seeking out.
