Of course it's modern and a very unique, at least in brazilian filmmaking, cinematic love letter to everything foolishness related to love. Actors are awesome, specially Leila Diniz. But the comedy bits didn't really click for me -- or I just wasn't on a good day to watch it. Guess I'll never touch the 2020 miniseries remake, though -- they say it's a pretty embarrassing esquerdomacho shit.

SPOILER: Só não gostei da conclusão, ficou meio artificial, forçando pra ser "final feliz". Eu preferiria se acabasse do jeito que aparentava que iria acabar, com eles se separando após a morte do personagem Leopoldo.
