Very silly. But well done.

So much going on here. Servais questions whether non-conformist platitudes actually do any good against the horror of the status quo, and lays blame on the media for the public's overestimation of their own knowledge and the bad thinking habits that result. Captivating and far from the simplistic treatments these subjects usually get.

I don't think you could tackle this subject matter any better than this. At first it seems kind of silly and good but not great but then it just starts hitting you over the head with aggressive weirdness. Everything is symbolic and stuff becomes a mantra for us to hear over and over (consumerism for example), and it really hits how we don't say what we think in fear of what will happen. This is an amazing short.
