Time Bomb Y2K

Completely competent and entertaining doc. The archival footage is the selling point. It works because a) revisiting how the media/people reacted is interesting and b) it's sad seeing the beginnings of certain future events (Putin saying his Russia won't be "overbearing" or imperial, for example) and how, as one person said, people always react to change this way. But it would have become a great doc had it had post-Y2K talk, allowing us to see experts and whatnot react to what they did.

A failure in that it doesn't really resolve whether the 2 digit computer date limit was no problem after all, or if all the prep to "fix" it, actually prevented catostrophe. You'd think that would be addressed after 90 minutes, but it isn't. But it succeeds in being a time capsule trip down memory lane.
