Disappointing effort never manages to capitalise on what should be a dream clash of flinty personalities in Mills and Mason, instead ambling around a loose, and never properly defined, conflict between the two men, which turns into a rather self-serious murder plot in the last third. Lom's *incredibly* old-fashioned Asian stereotype in support also causes more than a few winces. However the island scenery is attractive, and the star duo are always watchable, even when saddled with weak material.
