The follow-up to Deanna Durbin's debut movie Three Smart Girls (1936). And now the sisters are almost grown-up. Her, Nan Grey and Helen Parrish (replacing Barbara Read from the first movie) get their taste of how difficult love can be. I felt this was a beautiful composition on all levels. Very girlie and high pitched, but rooted nicely in family, with high quality performances, especially from Durbin herself, and shot exquisitely by Durbin regular Henry Koster!
