Three Hearts for Julia (1943) is a romantic comedy that has dashes of funny sweet moments, but gets gradually unfunny in it's forced divorce scenario. Melvyn Douglas & Ann Sothern created noise, but I'm not sure they had the best chemistry together or if the material was any good to begin with.
