This Woman Is Mine

The feature film debut of Carol Bruce, a actress who would gain much greater success on stage than she would in Hollywood. A beautiful lady, but perhaps not the most vibrant screen personality that ever got the chance. She's surrounded by season veterans, without the film ever standing out the way they would have hoped. Plus John Carroll, with his over-the-top performance, sort of ruined it for me. Walter Brennan, of course, steals the show, this time as a stern sea captain.
