This Was Paris

British war film curio about the espionage surrounding the German invasion of France. Unfortunately the script was clearly rushed and had a plenty of shortcomings. Even if it's set for suspense, the thrill never comes and few situations plays out. Some of it due to the war was still in it's early on-goings and no "happy ending", or even an ending, could be made suitable for it's audience. Most intriguing was Robert Morley playing the bad guy, oh too briefly.
