This Is It

Starts off great, with a scathing representation of the Creationist telling of the beginning of man, but it soon enough falls apart into pretentious twaddle, with lots of useless repetition, and gives up what smart angle it was initially going for.

Seems like an original idea, but watching the execution is at times a disturbing and often an excruciating experience. This is due in part to the film's mediocre technical quality and the very annoying narration. Those things could be fixed. What can't be fixed is how creepy it is to film a child in this way and the implications the film is making by literally deifying this kind of innocence.
