I enjoyed this as a cheesy Christmas film. It is cheesy and sentimental but its got some nice sentiments and a good cast. Its an easy to watch, light and enjoyable film, with Timothy Spall and Joanna Scanlon (she features less than Spall). Its about what you probably expect of a British Christmas film - not too romance heavy though, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is a bit but not entirely. Maybe a little preachy but not as much as other films. I enjoyed it anyway, so I'd recommend it.
