Gen Z singing a P!nk song?! I think not. What a terribly uninteresting film. Someone on here says it promotes mental illness LMFAO, I guess if its gonna make those people mad then it did do something worthwhile.

The movie just didn't know what it wanted to be, thereby ending up being lame and confusing on all frons.

Propaganda promoting mental illness, Hollywood sinks to lower depths never before imagined. I flicked through this when I saw the title, and it was worse than I thought.

I though the movie was bad enough when it turned into a High School musical midway through. Boy was I wrong. Also, here's a tip: if you are making a slasher movie, show the gdamn slashing!

does not deserve such a clever title. its pretty fun here and there, but the concept of " "but im a cheerleader" if it was a slasher" just could have been so much better. "villain" only kills the bad guys but she still gets shit on in the ending. weird and unsatisfying. overall its kinda a shitty slasher and didnt have good enough characters to make up for it, but it was a cozy watch after enough beers.

While “They/Them” is a step in the right direction for LGBTQ+ representation in horror films, its lack of scares and mixed messaging make it fall short of its potential. Nonetheless, the film’s well-drawn characters and strong performances make it worth a watch.

Aside from the wishy washy violence is bad at the end this was a pretty entertaining modernization of a revenge movie. If that’s not your thing obviously this movie isn’t going to be for you but seeing a lot of talk about how this movie isn’t saying something or what have you like folks it’s a horror movie it tells you what it means by who gets killed, who is doling out retribution and the vibes of the locales. I’m a sucker for Blumhouse trash with a twist in the 80’s camp slasher traditions.

Wasn’t as stupid or silly as I was expecting when I heard they’re making a slasher called they/them, but still a solid revenge film. The singalong to a pink song had me dying

But I'm A Masked Murderer doesn't really manage to balance horror and themes. Well-meaning to a fault, which isn't necessarily the best idea for a slasher movie, but there are plenty of movies that still manage to do that and still turn in a decent horror plot... but not this time. Watch Assassination Nation instead.

The production was so careful not to exploit queer issues that they made the movie too tame. Premise / name aside, this movie is very conventional and mediocre, and not scary for even one second.

Although They/Them had many flaws, at least it has a different plot and a good idea. I had fun watching it, but I wish there were better death scenes, unexpected moments and surprises. Overall, it's a predictable summer camp slasher.
