They Met in Bombay

Entertaining swindler story which turns into World War II action with Clark Gable & Rosalind Russell carrying the half-baked script solely on their star power. Takes a lot to swallow the plot, but not their personalities. Polished production must be said, but they should have worked harder on lighthearted script, both for laughs and for drama. Still, if you're after some pure escapism They Met in Bombay (1941) might not be a bad choice.
