Everything that's wonderful about Hartley isolated in one apartment and eighteen minutes. Maybe the best movie ever somehow, if it weren't so short.

Too brief and ultimately inconsequential for me to consider it top-tier Hartley, but that said it's a satisfying short sharp shock of his usual brilliance. Also, it's remarkably prophetic in it's depiction of Williamsburg becoming a hipster epicenter at least a decade before the fact...

I need to watch this again immediately. This is sort of "essence of Hartley", distilled into a dense, wonderful short ride. And amazingly clairvoyant on the subject of Williamsburg.
