The Zodiac

Very by-the-numbers.

Inevitably made redundant by Fincher’s effort, this is a flat, perfunctory telling of the outlines of the Zodiac case, pitched like a middling TV effort; does nothing egregiously wrong, and remains completely watchable, but never convinces of its time and place, and spends too much time following irrelevant interludes (especially Culkin’s experience of first love!) One key murder scene feels almost completely ripped-off wholesale by the later effort; otherwise unmemorable except as an also-ran.

this one is a step-by-step-investigation-process flick!!! the story is stretched only because the writers have kept the term 'detailing' in their mind, which is fine for me. i loved the movie especially robert downey jr.

Wow, this was like watching three real-crime shows in a row. Sure it was a good movie, but it was soooo long.

Bland, forgetable and wholly conventional.

The DTV, NOT the wide release version. Stay away from this.
