The Wrath of Vajra

Great and brutal fights, mediocre story the story from building any tension. The story is overly confusing and many god actor and martial artists get marginalized and feel wasted. Xing Yu is a great martial artist but doesn't have much screen presence which is why I couldn't remember seeing him in multiple films I've seen.

Some nice fighting scenes but that's it.

the fights are good, and there's one done on a platform/walkway over a river that's very visually pleasing and memorable. in between the fights you have the doldrums that just barely pass for a story, but the story does succeed in keeping you anticipating the next fight so it serves its purpose for this type of movie. not upper tier action by any means, but it wouldn't hurt for genre fans to give this one a try.
