This came out the same year as 'Rashomon', and I love the idea of being presented with different perspectives by letting different characters tell the same story. The solution to the mystery might not be stunning, but the way the story is told is absolutely brilliant.

Makes most of its simple script and modest production value with innovative narration and a commendable cast

Interesting concept. Different views on the same subject. If you're tired of one-dimensional portrayals of people, here's multiple opinions on a murdered lady as told through flashbacks. I feel I should have prepared myself better for this one, for I wasn't loving it at first, and it took some time before I appreciated it. Maybe one day I'll revisit it specifically for its unique perspective.

WEBRip RARBG.

This came out about a month after Rashomon opened in Japan (but long before it appeared in Western theaters), and has a very similar premise - but is far superior. It's a real shame that Rashomon achieved immortality while this was forgotten.
