Watching the rather hokey opening, I was sure I would be turning it off in a few minutes. But then an odd charm began to manifest, and I stayed. And to my surprise, there was a character or two that I actually cared about, chiefly Ben, played by the immensely likable Ari Sorrentino. And Matt Achine's (I would love to meet whoever came up with THAT moniker) Corey is a fascinating creation. It's often rather silly, but offers some unexpectedly astute observations on dating, love, and human nature.
