A lot of personality and a playful musical, but cadet settings usually don't do it for me and I can't say the loose plot was doing much for me either. Had a few moments that I liked, but I have higher expectations when it comes to James Cagney movies. I probable appreciated Virginia Mayo presence the most, even more than Doris Day in this one.
