The Way We Weren't

The Way We Weren't delivers pretty much what you'd expect from a RomCom with its premise, albeit with a a little more sex comedy. The film is not well-produced, with awkward cuts and transitions and a narration gimmick that pauses scenes in pointless places that impacts the pacing; but it's cute enough for the RomCom aspect to work. The acting isn't great, but Gubelmann is charming enough and the in-laws (played by Bell & Davies) are entertaining. Benign and mildly amusing.
