The Voice of the City

Early talkie with mostly actors new and old that didn't really make it in the sound era. Very stiff and awkward acting. Only one to truly survive the transition was John Miljan and he was easily the most natural actor here. The plot wasn't very good either. A crime story hiding from the police, and fellow crooks, terribly naive and underwritten. Only thing interesting was seeing a bunch of faces that would quickly disappear or go below the radar in small movie parts as unknowns.
