The Visitor

This movie has an idea that just might work: New Coke! Somebody likes Ari Astor movies and tried to make their own. That's not the worst thing in the world. I can't recommend and won't but the atmosphere was nice and if you haven't seen any other horror movies than this should creep you out.

Intriguing mystery that eventually drops dead. Not scary.

Not that bad even if slow and underdeveloped. Premise was quite cool.

“The Visitor” may have some atmospheric moments, but it ultimately fails to leave a lasting impression. The film’s lack of originality and underdeveloped plot and characters make it a forgettable entry in the horror genre. While it may satisfy some fans of slow-burn horror, most viewers will find it to be a disappointingly bland experience.
