The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee

I've seen almost every movie Paul Hogan has made, which isn't many, but unfortunately at over 80 years old, this will probably be the last one. Mildly entertaining.

For those who found Hogan's earlier DUNDEE efforts too intense and hectic - Hoges does CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM-lite describes this very gentle, old fashioned, meandering comedy - and not bad on that basis, with Hogan likable as always and backed by some amusing "guest star" spots (Cleese as a manic Uber driver is the most fun). Predictable and lightweight, but professionally executed so that the story beats land satisfactorily, even mixing some poignance into its rather silly underlying premise.

my favorite part: the producer guy hands Hogan a giant stuffed crocodile and then says to him "it's a crocodile." thanks, producer guy!

I was expecting this to be terrible, but it had some heart and some amusing bits.
