The Vengeance of She

Basically a rehash of original She with a lesser cast and sets. The beginning which takes place in modern Riviera with a lounge soundtrack works best.

Although I don't believe the "rules" of screenwriting always hold true, this certainly proves that your protagonist MUST have agency. A technically competent mystery w/ a knockout in the lead, this is worthy of study. The lead's resigned to a direction created entirely by others. The movie itself is never even clear as to who she actually is - which leads to a giant anticlimax. Her resigned journey also causes helpers to die- so why should we care? Truly a slog to sit through despite her looks
