The Velveteen Rabbit

I have a rabbit bias and there's a lot here that reminds me of my own childhood, but even outside of that, what a beautiful kid's movie. Explores unconditional love in a mature way that's still disgestible for children, without shying away from the painful truths of life; the hellos and goodbyes and what that entails. When Rabbit comes back as a real rabbit and sees William I lost it. Very emotional. 40 minutes of greatness and one of the finer examples of a kid's movie in recent years.
