Universal tries to create another Deanna Durbin in 13 year old Gloria Jean. Voice of an opera angel and face of another angel - Shirley Temple. And they use the same formula, perhaps even more innocent. Sweet and harmless story about a girl having difficulties fitting in with the more privileged girls at a summer camp, only to win over by being utterly kind to everyone. A bit too much on the moral side, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't an enjoyable family movie.
