The Thundering Herd

Very impressed by the visuals and audio but PU to the script.

This is low budget western with a weak story finished off in a chaotic battle scene that doesn't look real.

A mildly amusing but ultimately forgettable western.

A average western with Randolph Scott as the main hero, but with an strong western cast of Harry Carey Sr, Buster Crabbe, Monte Blue and as the chief bad man Noah Beery! The pretty lady in this one was Judith Allen making her movie debut. Looked alright, but the woman who made the biggest impression was the one playing Noah's wife, Blanche Friderici, and how she wanted to keep her man. The production was very mixed and kind of all over the place, but it made for a entertaining 'B' western.
