The Thieves

Good, but a bit too long. For all its slick production and style the narrative seems to be a bit overlooked, as it clunks along increasingly disjointedly throughout the film. That said, it's entertaining. For every cliché there's something unexpected, and it has some great action scenes.

A perfectly competent flashy caper film that, for whatever reason, just didn't quite do it for me. In a way it's like the prototypical heist flick in the way it completely embodies all the cliches and tropes of the genre, but it handles everything well enough that it's not too grating most of the time. It also has literally an entire third act I wasn't expecting to be there, which is part of what made it feel like it lost its steam. Visually it's almost too slick, very Hollywood 101. It's shiny.

Just too long, you lose interest in the plot. A good cast does not make a good movie.

It's good but too long and none of the characters are really likable so when they get double and triple crossed I barely cared. The action and trickery were extremely well done but not so much the set up scene switch really drag the movie down. The scene in English were a little painful as well. Good but not Great Sunday afternnon watch.

So unnecessarily complicated.

The cast is tiiiight. Simon Yam, yam yam yam.

more than just a korean ocean's 11. pulls some unexpected twists that really enrich the film. awesome action scenes in the finale.
