Down a seedy city street in her neighborhood, young Enola Penny is obsessed with what appears to be a long abandoned theatre. One night, she impulsively decides to sneak inside. But there in the dark, decrepit auditorium, a show unlike any other unfolds before her eyes. Its host is an eerie human puppet named Peg Poett who will introduce Penny to six tales of the bizarre. As the stories unfold, something strange is happening. Something that awaits its next audience in THE THEATRE BIZARRE. (imdb)

One fateful day in 1998, I accidentally filmed myself going to the bathroom. Those 38 minutes of film are many, many times more horrifying than this complete snoozefest. Funnily enough, both films have Udo Kier in them.

Very lame anthology. Every segment is boring, underdeveloped, pointless and poorly acted.

Anthology movies have never been extremely good. This one does anthology with a low budget and a bunch of no names, and a couple B-names as well. At least it's got Tom Savini, I'll watch anything that he has a part in.

Udo Kier as the host was as good as he used to though I did not like much of the frame story. The biggest fault of the most of the stories was the low quality of the acting. That to say, I put most of the score on the story called The Accident. And actually it did fit least to the other five bizarre stories. Fine acting, well paced, excellent story and directing. I Love You has got also close to good plot. Pretty well acted as well. The other four I did not fancy much.

Not since the original "Creepshow" has there been a horror anthology as amazing as this. Comprising of six different short films, each with a different director and introductory segment, each one is entirely different and unique in their own way and even the segments in between with Udo Kier are extremely entertaining. "Wet Dreams", "The Accident" & "Sweets" are the highlights. Best horror of the year.
