The writing and acting are pretty wretched, but the movie's ultimate message is powerful enough to overcome those weaknesses... almost.

This was clearly intended for a Christian audience since Christ appearing is pretty heavy for regular entertainment. Weak acting, but I'd still call it a pleasant feel-good film for those willing to consider the premise of a group of Christians in ancient America.
