The production was a bit too simple to really get much excitement out of this Rin Tin Tin Jr. adventure as the dog hunts down fur thief Monte Blue, who's dressed up perfectly as a stereotypical French-Canadian forest man. Some nice snowy outdoor shots mixed in with some animal cruelty makes for... well, a mixed experience. But Rin Tin Tin the second did well with no Rex around to scare him.
