The 'Teddy' Bears

This is fucked up.

Those were some cool stop motion dancing bears. The rest of the film is basically Goldilocks and the three Bears with men in suits. Surprisingly enjoyable although the ending is kind of sadistic.

Fantastically jacked. The animated peephole bit still amazes, and the rest of it is beautifully gonzo. Hint: This children's tale shares an ending with Night of the Living Dead.

A trippy satirical dark retelling of Goldilocks and the three bears. Definetly a werid comedy that feels different from many of the movie's released during this time period.

Is it only me or is there a face made by trees' branches just between doors and the nearest tree trunk?The beginning's cute and I can imagine how kids were re-playing dancing bears scene with their own teddies at that time. However, two scenes which followed it terrified me. I've forgotten it but physical violence was more acceptable at that time than nowadays, so the whooping scene seemed less abusive than now. However, you can't say this about shooting scene. WTF, woodsman? The ending's gross.

The best pre-1910 film. Not only is the bear dancing sequence terrifically edited, the Goldilocks narrative is hilarious and rather shocking.
