The Swindler

Felt like a hint of mystery early on, before the motives come clear and the drama sinks in. I liked how it was captured. Made it easy to get into the characters and their trouble. I did not feel they got the most out of the emotional aspect of the story, but it was fine. Certainly gives an idea what kind if visual eye long-time British director Maurice Elvey had in his early years.
