The Substitute

Falls into a weird space where you can sense it's intended for a young horror audience, a burgeoning audience. It would be a deep diver that found it at the right time though so instead you have an older gentleman like myself trying to assess it's worth in regards to my own existence. I liked it because it's a fun story to try and tell and I know less about reaching a youth audience than I do writing a tight script so basically the moving pictures deterred the emptiness for minutes and I clapped

I liked the idea quite a bit. The actors played their roles pretty well, its pretty typical in terms of a movie like this, but the difference is just how streamlined and nice it is overall. Its got some plotholes, most sci-fi films do though so I wasn't too concerned with that. It was a welcome viewing that I had not expected (saw it on tv). worth giving it a chance.

Not bad. Visually very well done, but Danish storyline is a bit lost in translation... or maybe it's just plain bad writing.
