One please for the commentary on me buying a ticket for a Tom Arnold vehicle.

Rewatched January 2016. Perfect silliness, but with a twisted logic all its own; it keeps its promises, and even that dogged insistence on recapitulation is a parody of conventional screenwriting wisdom.

Oh dear Lloyd! Incredibly and intentionally dumb movie, and yet I love it. I laugh just about every time I turn this movie on. I don't know what it is.

what can you say abaht this move the title says it all STUPID.

Landing Arnold for the lead seems like the casting coup of the decade but the movie itself is shaky and uninspired.

There's far more going on in this movie than sheer stupidity, slapstick and Tom Arnold-ness. Definitely not genius either, but close to it at times.

Yes, yes, it's over-the-top and downright ridiculous, and some things just plain don't belong. But it is one of those guilty-pleasure films that gets better every time you watch it or quote it.

Bad film, but personal favorite growing up. "I can't believe I'm in the presence of The Lloyd! And we've been pronouncing it wrong all these years!"
