A pleasant French drama, part-comedy. Not as meddling as most French speaking films can be, and Michel Simon & Françoise Rosay certainly gave this portions of their quirky nature. The romance with the younger couple had it's charm, though the romance drifted a bit instead of sparkling all the way through. Fine rarely seen film.
