Is it possible to make a trashy version of what peele was going for in his horror movies? That’s what usually follows the trendsetters of the past. This one kind of tries to but still needs everything lined up just perfectly within the frame to acknowledge that when something goes wrong it will be recognizable and all that does is remind you there’s better options out there in a way that the trash following halloween did not etc. absolutely mental ending tho!!

Saying this is a stupid version of a movie Peele might make is giving it too much credit tbh. Dabbles in a bunch of hot topic themes but doesn’t do anything with them. Saved by a pretty wild ending.
