It really, really wants to be clever and wants even more to be as thrilling as it claims, but it's not either of those things. Which is a shame, given that the premise isn't terrible and the plot could actually work, if handled by someone who knew what they were doing. The writing- particularly some awful dialogue that sounds like a 15-year-old wrote it- are what kill it, and flat characters don't help. The cast tries to work with what they have, but they don't have much. Overall, not great.

This is an unbelievably terrible film. None of these people can act. The dialogue is horrible. The film feels like a homage to Hitchcock via "Basic Instinct", and it has all the correct stylistic touches, but they are executed so flatly and blandly that it ends up feeling more like a parody than a homage ... only it isn't funny. It all leads up to a final reveal that you can see coming from miles away, only it's executed so poorly that it really makes no sense.
