Standard low budget western cheapy than had a slight added bonus of having a hidden mastermind. The mystery is easy to figure out and everything else is very run of the mill and forgettable.

The usual Lone Star stuff. This one even managed to put me to sleep which is quite a accomplishment for a movie which lasts less then 55 minutes. They tried to make the bad guy a mystery man, but it was poorly done like almost anything director Robert N. Bradbury attempts. Too bad for young John Wayne to be trapped in an environment like this making one meaningless western after the other. He's lucky it didn't destroy his career before it really began.
