This wasn't a star maker! This movie was to introduce 14-year-old Linda Ware as Hollywood's new singing sensation, and she only made one more movie before she was finished. And that was poverty row picture 2 years later. So even with the rub of Bing Crosby, they could sell this new Deanna Durbin-like song bird. I guess they introduction was too gimmicky. She did the high-note thing, then she did the "popular song" bit and, to be honest. she looked corny doing it. Little felt special.
