The Stabilizer

This is not a good movie, in fact, it's pretty terrible, but it also has some crazy ass stunts which were a blast to watch. It was too bad that I had to watch the shitty English dub.

I don't know where this filmmaker's head is at, but some of the action scenes are actually not bad.

Starts with a bang and manages to keep the tempo ridiculously high. By the end you become a bit exhausted of all the good stuff: motorbikes, martial arts, WTF moments, henchmen and secret warehouses. Still, it's a fun ride and it probably takes multiple viewings to appreciate all the small details. Special mention to the evil mastermind of the film, Greg Rainmaker, who wears cool spiky shoes -- too bad they're VERY unpractical for walking.

Amusingly incompetent. The star's haircut alone is laugh-inducing, let alone the flashback where his wife dies (of a thigh wound?) as the camera zooms in on a picture of him wearing a mesh shirt and looking "tough" holding a gun. I just wish there wasn't the pointless animal mutilation ruining the fun.
