The Spirit of Notre Dame

Norwegian-born turned-American hero, Knute Rockne, was supposed to work as an adviser on this production, which was basically a tribute to his winning team, but he died in a plane crash going there. So a film that was already honoring him, ended up honoring him in a very different way than originally planned. Regardless, it's a American Football picture the way they've always been. Wasn't fresh then, and certainly isn't fresh today.
