If you see this under the influence, it's quite, erm, effective. A bunch of amazing visuals to suck you in and some trippy theories to blow your mind maaaan.

Fuck anybody who says, "we just need to look to the Amazonians making the experience last 5 hours, there is something to that." THEY LIVE IN GODDAMNED GRASS HUTS, THEIR LIVES SUCK! Wow you get to see aging hippies in the Amazon sitting in plastic chairs drinking from ceramic cups being filled with DMT juice made in a cast iron pot poured from a plastic bottle. The only thing those fucking asshole spear chuckers were ever able to make was DMT juice. Lets all do drugs so we can be failures!

Filled with misinformation and drooling hippies rambling about nonsense. Worthless.

Gets points for trying to tackle the ineffable effects of this molecule. However, it completely lacks any structure. It's essentially a random set of interviews on the subject. Poor editing.

Filled with trippy visuals, I can imagine this documentary would be amazing to watch when under the influence of psychedelics. The science isn't backed up much, the whole documentary is filled with pure speculation. But anyone who has ever done psychedelics or gained enlightenment can recognize and see the truth in what is being discussed. For that reason I really enjoyed this documentary and fully support the message that I got from it. The whole film feels calm and at peace, beautiful!

DMT: The Spirit Molecule certainly provides plenty of interesting information on the drug and its cultural background, but oh my god this movie is so corny it hurts. You have the stoner visuals everywhere, but if you watch it sober (which I mistakenly did) they're just silly. You also have Joe Rogan (why?) incessantly harassing you with his genre of wisdom. "Skip this stoney baloney and just actually do DMT" - the ghost of Ebert

Filled to the absolute brim with speculation and shaky science, but there is a part of me that really wants to believe what's being proposed here. Too bad it's packaged in a tinfoil-hat format.

Stunning documentary. During the 'trip explanation' chapter I was completely drawn into it. Soothing music, calm voices, beautiful images. It took my breath away, complete ecstasy
