The Soldier and the Lady

The last of 3 language versions Anton Walbrook did of Jules Verne novel Michel Strogoff, titled The Soldier and the Lady (1937) by RKO, while apparently lifting footage from the German and French versions. It's clear that a lot of the film has a much more European feel than the usually lighter Hollywood touch. For the American crowd they insert Elizabeth Allan in there with Anton for the sweet tones and Margot Grahame for the more bitter sweet.
