The Sleepover

watchable

I think I watched this mostly because of the cast, and when I started it up I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of it based on it looking like a family movie, but I was pleasantly surprised. It felt like the adults were given equal screen time to the kids, and their stuff didn't feel dumbed down for kids to enjoy it, which I think is always the best way to handle family movies, so they're enjoyable to all ages, not just kids. Overall, it was a decent watch.

No adult should ever watch this cheaply-made film on their own, but watching with the kids proved to be good fun.

A low budget scavenger hunt/kids caper/save parents movie that was exactly what I needed tonight.

Right after I resort to disgusting metaphor to express my displeasure with TIME TRAP's pandering to the STRANGER THINGS set, here comes this which does the same thing but organically and with some real charm. Tho I can't be the only one sure it was building to the girls getting together with each other before they shoehorned the white boi without qualities back in. I'm not doing a perv bit or something, they're really sweet scenes! I'd hoped the lack of blatant reaction inserts was subtlety.
