Not a bad story, but quite confusing at times. It was good seeing David Duchovny in something a bit different and Olivia Thrilby does quite a good job playing two different characters. A bit slow at times, which does make the movie a little hard to watch though.

A creepier, darker Freaky Friday. Doesn't pay off particularly well, and it's pretty slow, but there are some interesting ideas at play, and it pleased me that it didn't go down a Possession route. Olivia Thirlby is great, and David Duchovny is pretty good. Not a must-watch, but not a waste of time, either.

It was interesting to see Olivia Thirlby's earlier work after seeing her in Dredd (2012). She did a great job playing two people. David Duchovny was great as expected. I've liked him since The X-files. The overall story of The Secret took some unexpected turns and kept me genuinely interested in how the story would end, which is refreshing these days as many movies are predictable. I also like how little was explained about what happened, leaving much to our imagination.

Top badass moment? Can’t say... because it’s a secret! A pity, as it's awesome too. In this, an X-Files spin-off film, FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder goes deep undercover to investigate the strange story of a mother inhabiting the body of her teenage daughter, posing as the husband and father of said people. I’ve always felt inside that I’ve been taken over by something, as I couldn’t possible fuck up so many things on my own. No one's that useless. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

The ending was predictable, but the beginning, and middle were the most unique things I've ever seen in film!
