The Second Act

This was only the second film that I've seen from writer/director Quentin Dupieux, and my reaction was pretty much the same that I remember having after seeing his "Rubber" many years ago. The meta-concept is fun and there are some amusing scenes, but it's not really laugh-out loud type of comedy. Still, it's only around 80mins long and I was never bored watching the cast play it out, but it would have worked better as a 45min short film.
