The Scarlet Coat

Very effective Revolutionary War picture, with Michael Wilding giving perhaps his best performance as the gentlemanly British spy, Major Andre.

Interesting idea for a film, but none of the characters or relationships are developed. There is a deep connection between Andre and Boulton that appears to be created by fencing.

No idea why I taped this. It's about as average as a movie can get which is why I have it at 54
