The Ruling Voice

Walter Huston shines as a racketeering boss! Can't imagine how this movie would have been without him. He was such an honest and ruthless gentleman mobster! Only thing that soften his heart is his lovely daughter Loretta Young who gets him to change his mind about his racket. But you know, no way of escaping the mob so it gets complicated which leads to a nice little suspense scene at the end. "The Ruling Voice" is not a major picture, but Huston shows he's a major actor.
