Nostalgia bubbles are forcing me to rate this as high as I am. I remember Dil ruined the show though.

So much effort. It's a very long episode. It was OK.

Noisy and frantic adaptation of the TV series - relying on at least 25 year old memories, the TV show was probably equally as frenetic, but at feature length, it is just too loud and abrasive long before even the halfway mark. Having said that, the characters are still amusing and likable enough, and the daffy word-play dialogue (though subject to a few groaners) brings a few smiles along the way. A sentimental/nostalgic watch, to be sure.

still one of my favs ever. gotta rewatch after done all rugrats stuff. did and raised from 90 to 92. paris 93 to 95, same with chipmunk adventure. one of those could be 94. munk's music makes up for not having paris' emotion. Jan 2021 up to 95, chipmunk down to 90 lol

Something about The Rugrats Movie has always made me sick to my stomach when watching it. It's so childishly grotesque, and I felt the same way about it when I was a kid.

May be mildly amusing for a quick cartoon - but a film is just too much.

What was once a charming little cartoon jumped the shark with this movie, which is more interested in potty humor than the wit that shined in the show's golden era.

I watched this all the time when I was younger and only now do I realize what a stupid child I was.
